Covid-19 Update
As a local grower and participant in The Corner Farmers Market, as part of the goal of helping folks cope with the current CoVid-19 pandemic I am supporting advance ordering through this website for pickup on Saturday morning at the market.
You can find my products through WhatsGood where you can order from Elam Gardens, plus other Corner Market vendors in one easy transaction, and then pick it up at the market’s drive through pick up service.
You can find us EVERY Saturday till 12 noon at the corner of Walker and Elam Avenue at The Corner Farmer's Market.
I recently confirmed a suspicion, thanks to the folks in the local Agricultural Extension Office, that I am the leader in urban agriculture in Greensboro. Weird. A state with a long tradition of agriculture, excellent soils to work from, temperate climate, and plenty of folks interested in food.
Either I am an anomaly (OK, so that one is a given), or
I need to find some more friends in the city and get them to DO urban agriculture. Anyone interested? Seriously, I could do with some company. Makes life much more interesting.
I wonder if a craigslist advert is required
